Aces Up game info
- Family: Non-builders type games
- Decks: One deck (52 cards)
- Game time: Short
- Change of winning: Low
The goal in Aces up is to remove all cards from the tableau until the only cards left are the four aces.
Layout & deal
Each of the four tableau piles is dealt one face-up card. The other cards go face-down into the stock.
You can remove the top card in a pile if another pile has a top card from the same suit and with higher rank. If the top cards in the four tableau piles are all from a different suit, you cannot remove any card.
You can deal extra cards from the stock by clicking it. This will deal one face-up card to each tableau pile.
Empty tableau piles can be filled with the top card of any other tableau pile. Click the card you want to move and it will automatically go to the empty space.
- The key decision you have to make is which card you will use to fill an empty space. Try to pick one that allows to remove many other cards, or move an Ace to an empty spot.
- Cards below an Ace can only be reached by moving the Ace to an empty pile.
